Denise King-Perdue,  Assistant Director of UWG Alumni Relations, spoke to the Carrollton Kiwanis Club on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Sunset Hills Country Club.   She gave a preview of the upcoming travel opportunity centering on Florence, Italy.   Allyson Bretch, Director of UWG Alumni Giving, spoke about the A-Day campaign planned for October.

We had a wonderful group of guests. 
 
Michelle Morgan  -  County Commissioner Michele Morgan, mother too of Michael Morgan, one of the outstanding students with us from Carrollton High School. 
Ian Lyle, CHS Assistant Principal and Career Track Educatoin Direcot also joined us.
Laurie Fleck  -  Director of Marketing and Community Engagement for Carrollton Schools assisted with the program.
John St. John  -  Jim Carter brought guest and friend from Dallas, Texas.  John retired from Flexsteel as their top salesmen.
Theresa Fisher  -  We also welcomed Theresa Fisher, Southwire Company Training Specialist and a facilitator for Southwire Engineering Academy.
Among the Carrollton High School interns in the Southwire Engineering Academy (SWEA) recognized of the meeting were:
Joshua Glanton, Donald Sener, Michael Morgan, Amber Zheng, and Taylor Gray.
